She likes to explore and learn more about literature, which has also led her to gain new friends and experiences. She always reminds herself, "Let go of the things that are out of your control."
Abel Iloko
Loom Weaving is what we call "Abel Iloko" in my mother tongue. The abel is made from cotton yarns. Ilocos weavers use hardwood pedal looms, employing different design techniques. Inabel holds a profound significance today as it preserves centuries-old designs and patterns that depict the lives and culture embedded into the very fabric of the region's indigenous weaving tradition. Some families use abel products as heirlooms that pass to the next generations.

You start to shine warm and bright
That is what you lighten up
